Our client is a large defence organisation, who require a Supply Chain Specialist to support the Sub-Contract Manager and the Supply Chain Purchasing Team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with proven Supply Chain experience to further their career.Main Responsibilities:Work with the Supply Chain Purchasing Team to manage suppliers relationships.Ensure continuously cost effective use of resources.To assist in developing, placing and managing sub-contracts for all projects.To provide KPI reports.To monitor and manage the progress of purchase orders raised by the Supply Chain Purchasing Team.Role Requirements:CIPS qualified or currently studying.Good IT skills.Excellent communication skills.Proven track record within a supply chain environment.Highly motivated.Able to work well within a team or on own initiative.Experience in management of large projects.This is a permanent position with a salary up to 36,000 and an excellent benefits package.
