Job Description
As a result of continued growth, we are currently recruiting Senior Transport Managing Consultants to join our team. This position will give you the opportunity to work on major, international projects alongside executives, engineers, bankers, lawyers, insurers, developers and entrepreneurs. You will gain a thorough insight into the top teams of major projects and their financial drivers. You will have the opportunity to win and deliver a wide range of short, medium and long-term high-value consultancy commissions. You will also have an involvement in the development of this rapidly growing facet of Atkins’ business. The successful applicant will be able to choose from any of our main Rail offices (Birmingham, Croydon, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Swindon, Warrington, York). The team is currently working on projects un the UK, Ireland, USA, France, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Japan, Brazil and Kazakhstan.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to focus their work on all aspects of Transport Management Consultancy from the initial bidding stage through to delivery of a project.
Requirements
The successful applicants will possess the following attributes / skills: - MEng qualified (or equivalent)
- A recognised professional qualification
- You will have a genuine interest in business management and development
- You will be able to demonstrate excellent project / programme management skills
- The successful applicant will be experienced in bidding, winning and delivering major projects and high value consultancy commissions
- Ideally, you will be fluent in more than one European Language
