About the company: My client provides a range of civil engineering construction services throughout the UK. With an annual turnover of £260 million they carry out projects to the value of £80million. These can range from individual projects through to long term framework agreements. Current sectors they are working in are Highways, Roads, Bridges, Airports, Utilities and Coastal Defence.
About the Role: Sub & Site Agents are required for existing and future Highways and roads projects throughout the UK. You will be working for one of the UK's top 5 Main Contractor's on one of many high profiled projects. The Sub/Agent will report directly to the Project Manager and you will be required to work on projects to the value of £40million as part of a project team or stand alone on projects to the value of £1million. Due to the continued success of my client within the highways sector which has resulted in projects throughout the UK, you will be positioned on a project as close to home as possible.
About the benefits / rewards: Although salary is dependant on exposure to the industry the group pay in excess of the industry norm and their benefits package is second to none. The company offers a generous bonus scheme, however this is dependant on personal and company performance. About the requirements: Candidates must be from an Engineering background with a relevant degree/HNC/D in Civil Engineering. Ideally you will have worked for a Civil's main contractor on either major highways or roads projects. Duties will include management of health & Safety, subcontractors, directly employed operatives, programming, cost control and reporting.
