We are currently working on behalf of a forward thinking fit out/refurbishment company who offer a complete design and project management service that enables clients to get better retail space quickly and cost effectively. Our client operates in a number of core sectors, with a unique set of skills which enable them to develop an in depth understanding of their client's needs. Current projects include existing store refurbishment and store extension programmes to the UK's leading retailers. The majority of their business is secured under long term framework agreements with their customers and is largely commercial.
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Contracts Manager in this progressive company. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying and has 3-4 years experience or perhaps an experienced Site Manager who would like to progress their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of aspects of various projects nationwide. Our client has a wide variety of projects in retail, leisure and public sectors. The idea for the successful candidate is to make swift progression to full Contracts Manager. Initially you will report to the company directors.
You will be paid up to £30,000 per annum dependant on experience. Our client want to ensure that good progression is made and the successful candidate should aspire to become Contracts Manger for the company within the next 1-3 years. You will be joining a leader in the retail fit-out industry and will have the support of one of the strongest businesses within this sector.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with good project management experience. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in retail and commercial fit out works. Ideally the candidate will have qualifications in construction at degree or HNC level. They must also have good communication and management skills and must be self driven and highly motivated.
