Due to an increase in work, our client is seeking to employ a CAD Technician to be based in their Doncaster Rail office.
You will be detailing the production of technical drawings for successful approval of civil and electrical infrastructure constructions. Primary responsibilities will be the preparation of drawings to support and convey design information prepared by structural engineers/senior engineers.
You will undertake the detailing of civil infrastructure and substructure's as well as the production of designers risk assessments. You will produce form A approvals for signing by engineers and travel to various locations when required to undertake general level /measurements surveys, record key dimensions and take digital photographs.
You will have previous experience as a technician undertaking design and detailing of substructure and superstructure solutions. You will have the ability to coordinate your own workload and undertake instructions from the technical manager and engineers.
You will hold a BTech HNC/HND in a relevant subject and experience of working within the rail industry would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
