Brilliant New Position: Project Manager (Rail)
We are currently recruiting for a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy, which is seeking to expand their Rail division. Based from their Birmingham office, this global firm also has an impressive presence in over 70 countries worldwide.
With a reputable name in UK Engineering Consulting, they were responsible for some of the most innovative buildings for the Beijing Olympics. They require a Project Manager (Rail) across all levels of seniority to be part of this truly multinational consultancy team.
You will be responsible for Production of and checking detailed railway designs and calculations within project management. You will be leading your team from concept design all the way to practical operations. It's an exciting time to join our client, as there are many opportunities to work within interesting and challenging projects.

Requirements:
To be eligible to apply for this position you should:
·Have an extensive experience of working within the UK Railways industry
·Have knowledge of working with software packages i.e. MicroStation, InRail TerraModelling, ClearRoute or equivalent
·Have a key understanding of interactions between railway assets and railway operating practices
·Have a high level or awareness within commercial risk, capital costs and maintenance contracts
·Be degree qualified to B.Eng or M.Eng or equivalent
·Be Chartered or in the process of obtaining Chartership or equivalent
