Job Description:

Management and delivery of electrical installation, testing and commissioning works carried out in accordance with BS7671;Client specification. To assist in promoting safe working practices and compliance with AIS Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

Requirements:

Essential Skills Required Below

Knowledge of low voltage distribution equipment
Knowledge of 650V signalling power supply equipment
Experience of working in the railway construction environment
Full driving license
BS7671C+G 2391 Inspection and Testing essential
Appropriate project management experience


Responsibilities:

Undertake surveys, feasibility studies and design as required for project activities including 650V signal power supply equipment and 400V distribution equipment etc.
Provide design coordination and direction
Preparation of Method Statements and Testing and Commissioning Plans
Monitor and report on progress against programme
Preparation of the safety, quality and environmental documentation for all projects
Manage subcontractors for installation and testing and commissioning
Plan and monitor works on site and produce progress reports for the Project Manager
Monitor and report on construction costs against budget allowance
Undertake site safety checks
Ensure on-site records are completed and submitted to project office as required
Attend meetings with client as necessary for planning future works and to review progress of existing works Ensure logbooks/diaries are kept up to date
