About the company: My client is a major provider of both Construction and maintenance services to the Highways sector. Their works range from the maintenance of roads on behalf of the public sector clients to the design and build of major Highways in urban and remote locations. With the recent reward of a major scheme my client are looking to recruit experienced staff to work on a high profile project near Birmingham.
About the role: You will be working as part of a team on the M40 Motorway Junction 15 improvement in Warwickshire. This project will provide a new bypass to the A46/M40 Junction 15 roundabout the west of the junction, alleviating traffic, reducing congestion and improving safety for the Highway. Key activities of this role will include managing sub contractors and the work force, communicate with rest of site team including engineers, quantity surveyors, safety office and clerk of works, and most of all working closely with the client to ensure full understanding of information is given at all times.

About the requirements: Ideally you will have worked on roads/Highways projects in the past and worked for a Main Contracting company. You must be able to read drawings and construct to them, work to a programme and keep written and electronic records. Be able to develop and promote safe systems of work, and possess good management skills, have experience in team building, and also have excellent communication skills.
