My client requires a Quantity Surveyor to start as soon as possible.
This position will involve the full Quantity Surveying remit including but not limited to:
Implementation and administration of contract agreements, Instructions and contractual correspondence, Financial reporting, Budget control and forecasting, mitigation of risks and claim events and settlement of final accounts Take-off, Estimating, Preparation of Bills of Quantities, Procurement strategies, preparation of tender documentation, agreement of the tender award process, liaison with project controls and input into the risk and value management process.
This role is based in Swindon but will include site visits throughout the South West area.
The successful candidate will have:
Working experience of quantity surveying.
Be capable of working under own initiative, with minimal or no supervision.
Have knowledge of construction procedures and working methods.
Enhanced understanding of construction law and contractual terms in all standard contract forms.
Rail or related experience (not essential)
