My client, a multi-disciplinary railway consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their Swindon Office.
Duties/Responsibilities included in this role are:
Project Manage all medium/large and /or complex rail related projects
Assisting in bid preparation for new projects.
Responsibility for the project team in Swindon
Responsibility for controlling and delivering a varied portfolio of concurrent projects
Responsibility for ensuring commercial, financial, quality and programme targets are met.
Preparation of tender proposals, planning, monitoring and ensuring projects are controlled effectively and delivering projects to client's satisfaction
Personal requirements are:
A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or in a a technically relevant subject
Chartered status or working towards Chartership
Extensive relevant Project management experience is essential (rail related experience preferred)
Experience in managing teams whether internal or client teams is required.
Extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the design office environment
Experience of negotiating commercial, financial and contractual arrangements and experience of change management at project level.
