What is the Role?

We currently have a rare opportunity to work for one of the countries leading rail consultancies as a Project Manager, they provides a combination of consultancy, business and technological services in the rail sector; working predominantly with Network Rail and London Underground. You will be dealing with multi-disciplinary rail issues from the Swindon office. You will be responsible for the recruitment of a team and also supervision of colleagues.

You will be asked to work unsupervised and to supervise others

Other responsibilities include;

· To deliver a high standard of service to clients
· To ensure that resources are allocated appropriately to deliver work to time and budget
· Lead and manage bidding activities for the profit centre
· Assisting in budgets and forecasts
· To actively participate in the monthly accounts with commercial team
· Health and safety issues throughout the team

Who are the likely candidates?

Ideally you will have the following;

· HNC or higher in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
· CDM Awareness
· Experience in team management and buildings and structures maintenance and inspection.

What Skills do I need?

You will be asked be confident with the following;

· You will be asked to work unsupervised and to supervise others
· Develop and maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers
· Be familiar with industry safety, quality and environmental standards
· Be able to write creative, clear reports
· Good recruitment skills
· Approve work of others
