An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who is a market leader in the Aerospace industry.
They are currently seeking a Safety and Reliability Engineer to join their team of highly skilled engineers.
The role will involve significant liaison with fuel system equipment supplier(s) and coordination within the Fuel Domain for all activities within the scope of Safety and Reliability relating to the A380 fuel pumps. This will involve working at the aircraft level, the system level and system detail level.
Main Requirements
Specifically, this assigment includes the following responsibilities:-
Act as focal point between Airbus and Equipment supplier(s) for all aspects of Fuel System Safety and Reliability Analysis relating to the A380 fuel pumps.
Work with Airbus/supplier to develop fuel pump safety case and certification plan.
Contribute to aircraft level safety / certification activities.
Review equipment suppliers safety and reliability analyses / compliance documentation.
Liase with design teams (internal & external) in support of developing design (pump safety case).
Participate in design reviews.
Witness Qualification/Verification/Certification tests.
Participate in improving pump quality / manufacture / delivery rates.
Support Airworthiness Authority (FAA/EASA) meetings.
Attend/Support progress meetings in Toulouse.
Project Management.
