What is the Role?
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced principal engineer to join our clients civil & structural engineering team in Swindon. You will act in the role of civils design manager and project manager / coordinator. You will be responsible for supervising a number of staff engaged on major rail infrastructure projects include;
· Rugby Station Remodeling
· East London Line
· Cross London Rail Link
· Airdrie to Bathgate Line Reopening
This orginisation has a well-earned reputation in civil and structural engineering. As a former British Rail design group they have considerable skills in railway bridges, stations and other civil engineering works in a railway environment. They undertake feasibility studies, scheme designs and detailed designs for all types of railway structure.
Who are the likely candidates?
The successful candidate will have experience in the design of railway infrastructure schemes such as bridges, stations or general civils works. Successful candidates will be Chartered and able to demonstrate significant experience of design and consultancy. Experience of mentoring, coaching, staff development is also essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills and client facing experience.
