My client is looking to recruit a Civil & Structural Engineering Manager for their Plymouth office to manage and further develop the civil and structural engineering team.
This is a challenging role involving the design and assessment of bridges and other structures for railway projects and you will need to demonstrate experience of leading and developing a similar team. You will be responsible for meeting agreed business targets and for creating, developing and managing business opportunities in the areas of civil and structural engineering.
Ideally my client is looking for a chartered engineer (MICE or MIStructE) with a proven track record of bridge design and assessment preferably in the rail industry.
The successful candidate will have experience of running, leading and developing teams of engineers and technicians, be able to deliver schemes on time and within budget, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong commercial awareness and experience of using structural analysis software.
