What is the Role?
As a Senior Bridge Engineer you will be responsible for a small team of junior and mid-level design engineers. This vacancy gives you the opportunity to work on a large variety of New and Refurbishment Bridge Projects, as well as some Civil related developments. For example this company have recently started a Project for Metronet, which involves the refurbishment of a large station platform.
The junior and mid-level engineers that you will be responsible for are in an existing team of 5. However due to the increasing workload that this company is currently experiencing, they are looking to increase this number and you will have the chance to be involved in the recruitment process.
Another responsibility that the Senior Bridge Engineer job entails includes client interfacing. The company put a strong focus on client relationships and you will be involved in the maintaining of these relationships, and help towards creating repeat business with existing companies, such as Metronet.

Who are the likely candidates?
A likely candidate will have reached Chartered status and have a relevant degree. The experience of being involved and adjusting in an expanding team is desirable and the ability to show that you have mentored junior and graduates is essential.
Candidates that can show Civil Engineering experience as well as bridge experience will be favoured.
