The Croydon office is seeking a Principal Engineer who will be responsible for day to day management of a bridge design team within the office and would be expected to take on a broader range of civil/structural designs.

Duties would include:
Responsibility for technical and commercial management of projects and management of individual client accounts.
The individual would be expected to meet clients regularly & ensure that they were provided with a first class service.
There would be further opportunities for personnel advancement upon successful contribution to the expansion of our already growing workload.
Skills
The applicant must be capable of taking a hands-on approach to design and technical coaching of junior staff.
Qualifications
Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer
Personal Qualities
Ideally the applicant should have sufficient railway bridge design experience, to be able to technically manage a small bridge design team with minimal supervision.
In addition the applicant should have `client facing` experience & be able to manage the client interface on a day to day basis.
The applicant will be expected to undertake a broad range of civil/structural projects & a background with broad experience would be an advantage.
