M&E Engineer
Job Description
A mechanical and electrical engineer is required to support an existing workload in Berkshire / M4 Corridor.
The position will provide the supervision of specialist M&E subcontractors and support to construction management staff on a site-visiting basis and in addition will provide technical advice to area office staff and support to tender estimators.
Ideally the candidate will have an electrical bias and will be able to provide a positive input from tender pre-qualification to the successful completion and handover of a wide range of multidiscipline infrastructure projects.
Qualities required include a wide experience and technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering for the infrastructure and construction industry; an awareness of different forms of contract, be computer literate; be a good communicator; have a non confrontational attitude; be self motivated with a flexible approach and be prepared to travel throughout the area if required.
The successful candidate will have to manage the available time efficiently to get the tasks completed.

• Circa up to £40,000 negotiable

Candidate Requirements
It is expected the minimum qualification the successful candidate will have is a degree or an HNC with relevant experience.
