Our clients, are a large rail organisation, are looking to recruit a Project Engineer at their offices in Berkshire. The candidate will be required to manage the engineering approvals process, respond to technical queries and review and accept work package plans for planned engineering work activities for a large Rail project. They shall liaise with external contractors and internal project managers and implement and maintain robust systems and procedures that ensure a cost effective, high quality and totally safe approach to the works. Whilst in this role you will report to the Senior Project Engineer as part of a multi disciplined team of Project Engineers.

Essential
·Significant Building Services and M&E experience, ideally with both design and construction experience.
·An engineering degree or equivalent industry-recognised qualification.
·A detailed knowledge of M&E engineering; relevant successful experience working on Building Services and M&E projects and an adequate understanding of all other related disciplines.
·An ability to work and communicate effectively in a team context and with external partners.

Desirable
·Membership of a relevant engineering professional institution.
·Formal qualifications in risk identification and assessment.
·An understanding of risk assessment techniques.
·Knowledge and worked within the railway environment. ·Knowledge of investment processes and procedures, including relevant computer systems.
