Our client has been created by formally bringing together the two businesses of ALSTOM UK Transport Information Solutions and Balfour Beatty Rail Signalling, providing a unique opportunity to offer ‘individual' or ‘complete solutions' to any customer requiring design, installation, testing, commissioning and product support for signalling, power and telecommunications
We require a Rail Tester to support a SQS or Commercial Manager to understand how to optimise margin on a project whilst protecting from commercial risk
Position Located in Borehamwood
Responsibilities to Include:
· Contribution to the timely achievement of forecast figures for cost, value profit and income
· Contribution to timely production of accurate CPR and CMES
· Contribution to timely production of accurate cost and production data
· Contribution to change control system
· Contribution to prompt placement sub-contracts and management of subcontract accounts
· Maintenance of Professional Log
Qualifications & Skills:
· Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent
· Working towards Professional Qualification
· Suitable post degree experience working in contracting commercial department preferably within the rail industry
· Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract
· IT skills: WordExcelCOINS
