About the Role: Our client is looking for a commercial manager to report directly to the Commercial Director, and will be required lead commercial team in support of the effective commercial management of the design and build of this project. This is a £100 million project which is to be completed by April 2011. You will manage the site commercial team and maximum the post contract commercial recovery. You will also be involved in sub contract administration, both commercial and contractual. You will need to take measurement and valuation of the Works and prepare and co-ordination monthly reports.

Requirements: You will require a practical understanding of Construction Law and have gained some experience of various forms of contract. Ideally have project management experience (claims, production, negotiation). You will also require a degree in a related subject – quantity surveying, construction, science, maths or civil engineering. The Commerical Manager must have the ability to motivate and develop their team and able to communicate at all levels.
