We're working with a leading international consultancy to appoint an AutoCAD technician for their office in Basingstoke.
The AutoCAD technician in Basingstoke will join the Highways Management Team in Basingstoke. They require an experienced user of AutoCAD to join their expanding highways design team working on public sector projects. The successful candidate will be involved in the Highways Agency Area 3 Framework commission and the A421 major highways ECI project, as well as design and build projects and local authority clients. There will also be opportunities for specialist involvement with overseas projects.
The successful candidate will have an ONC/HNC, ideally with a recognised qualification in AutoCAD. The ideal appointee will have experience of using AutoCAD, preferably related to UK Highways design.
The role requires excellent IT skills and the candidate must be proficient in MS Office. Some knowledge of some or all of the following highway design software packages is desirable: AUTOSIGN, AUTOLINE, AUTOTRACK, ARCADY. Knowledge of DMRB, MCDHW and TSR&GD would be desirable but not essential.
