What is the Role?
This is a traditional construction based project manager’s position for a main rail contractor in Scotland.
This major contractor has a number of rail jobs, this projects vary across the disciplines but are primarily track based and civil based.
They require the Project Manager; to have a technical appreciation of rail associated civil engineering projects. I.e., drainage, ballast, platform extensions, structures such as bridges signal bases etc.
The Project Manager, will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery, working with engineers to complete on time.
Who are the likely candidates?
The likely candidate will come from a general civil engineering background and will have gained a broad experience of civil engineering project experience.
It is beneficial if you have worked on civil engineering projects on or around the track.
