Senior Estimator (Water & Civils) Glasgow Excellent Package
About the company: My client is the leading contractor in the water industry and with the recent extended award from Scottish Water this has taken their water-related order book to £550m of which £250m is in Scotland. They have built their reputation on reliability, commitment and professionalism and aim to maintain there success and continue to provide a successful service to Scottish Water. Due to my clients success they are looking to recruit a Senior Estimator to work out of their Glasgow office.
About the Role: You will report directly to the business centre director for day to day responsibilities and the Estimating Manager for functional input and will be responsible for providing an estimating service to the business centre. Other duties will include the preparation of analytical estimates for civil engineering works that are technically correct and within an acceptable risk level, participation in the design development and assessing buildability, assisting in preparing high level pricing information early in the Tender for optioneering and budgeting exercises, participating in Tender preparation, Tender Construction and preparing a staff schedule. You will also be required to enquire and obtain competitive quotations for civil engineering resources and provide civil engineering expertise and technical advice to other members of staff.

About the requirements: You must be dedicated and proactive in your approach to work, and have the desire to motivate others. Ideally you will have a civils or Utilities background and at least 8 years Estimating experience.
