Our client is responsible for the maintenance of the UK rail infrastructure and now have an immediate requirement to recruit 4 HSE Advisors for their depots in Crewe, Manchester, Preston and Carlisle.
The successful candidate witll provide advise and support to the infrstructure maintenece delivery team on all workforce health, safety and environmental issues.
Responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance to the maintenance delivery team
Monitor and analyse for trends and produce reports
Identify health, safety and environmental key risks and make recommendations for control measures.
Support the implementation of national programmes to improve workforce health, safety and environmental controls.
Investigate and report on accidents and incidents.
Check that construction, design and management (CDM) regulation requirements are discharged.
Undertake an agreed programme of staff surveillance and asset condition checks.
Essential Qualifications:
Knowledge of safety and compliance management processes
Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
Knowledge of environmental management system
Knowledge of operational railway environment
Lead Investigator
Knowledge of coaching techniques
Desirable Qualifications:
NEBOSH Diploma
Membership of relevant professional body
IEMA
The successful candidates will be rewarded with:
