About the company: My clients are currently part of a framework agreement with Network Rail to renew and improve its stations throughout the UK. The firms have signed new framework agreements with Network Rail will cover work at stations, such as platforms, bridges, lifts, and car parks as well as Network Rail depots and other property. Under the programme Network Rail expects to invest around £15million in the first year of the contracts and then £25-£30million for each of the subsequent years.
About the Role: Experienced Site Agents/Supervisor's and Project Managers are needed to work on the Network Rail upgrade/refurbishment framework agreement. These contracts will range in size from £250k – Several million pounds. Projects will be varied and diverse, ranging from a major station refurbishment to canopy or roof replacement. As an Agent/Manager you will be able to work on a stand alone basis with a backing of an established, successful team. This is a long term position in a supportive company that believes in staff retention.
About the benefits / rewards: Although salary is dependant on exposure to the industry the group pay in excess of the industry norm and their benefits package is second to none. The company offers a generous bonus scheme, however this is dependant on personal and company performance. My client is keen to employ experienced and reliable management staff and for the right candidate the chance of progression is obtainable.
About the requirements: Ideally you will have a civil engineering background but this is not always essential. More important is a solid and proven track record within the industry. A level of loyalty to previous employers will also be looked upon favourably. Candidates with experience in the rail industry are again prefered but again those with general civil engineering experience will be considered.
