P&SC Executive - S/C Capability & Quality
LOCATION - Preston, Lancashire, North, North West (near Liverpool & Blackpool)
SALARY - £40000 - £45000 + Benefits (Pension, Healthcare, Partnership Shares)
* job purpose:
To embed all Quality, Capability and Development Engineers into the multi-functional approach to Supply Chain Management.
At the same time receiving overall governance from the Integrated Services Quality Function as well as the new core procurement function for Capability and Development Governance.
The overall purpose is to ensure that both the current and future supply chains are capable and have the capacity to discharge the compound plan of all platforms as well as the overall demands of all other Customers.
To support the definition, implementation and Maintenance of the MAS process for Supplier Capability and Quality Risk Monitoring.
Manage the monitoring of Supplier Capability and Risk, identifying the need for improvement.
Support the implementation of an effective end to end Supply Chain quality process across MAS.
* key responsibility areas:
To deploy a standard toolset to measure overall supplier capability and capacity available to discharge both the Systems and the suppliers tool demand requirements.
To develop and regularly issue a standard Quality Metrics by supplier that identifies the overall parts per million defect performance.
To augment the Quality Resolution process in a set of Quality Engineers that assist in developing solutions that both protect the customer and move ppm abnormality performance towards target conditions.
To ensure that all suppliers meet the Quality Approval Standard and are regularly assessed in line with SC21 values to ensure that respective Quality Environmental and Manufacturing Management Systems are in place.
To animate the plabs to ensure that critical supply chains meet the requirements of compound demand growth.
To ensure that new product supply chains are ready to meet their respective rate of climb.
