Requirements
  • Strong academic background in either Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology preferably with a related MSc and a strong track record in geotechnical analysis and design
  • The successful applicant will be a team player / Manager who is able to supervise and develop other geotechnical engineers
  • An appropriate amount of post qualification experience in a fast moving engineering consultancy environment, good understanding of soil mechanics and experience of foundation design
  • Successful applicants will have an appropriate amount of experience in related engineering consultancy and It would be expected that candidates will be either chartered or approaching chartership. A proven track record in managing the geotechnical element of more than one scheme at a time is required
  • Candidates should have a flair for innovation, good communication and excellent report writing skills
  • Experience of preparing and negotiating bids and tenders and the successful execution and completion of small and major projects is desirable
  • Experience of business development an advantage
  • Candidates must hold a UK Driving Licence.
