Section Engineer's (Road's & Highway's) Excellent salary & package – Manchester
About the company: You will be working for one of the UK's leading players in the Highways Industry. With a healthy order book and numerous ongoing Highways & Roads projects throughout the UK my client are going from strength to strength. Current projects range from £1million to £80million and are undertaken throughout the UK. Their involvement extends from feasibility through construction to maintenance, and ranges from individual projects through to long term framework agreements.
About the Role: This is a great opportunity to work for a Main contracting company and develop their career working on high profile infrastructure and general civil engineering projects. As Section Engineer you will report to the Senior Site Engineer, Agent or Project Manager dependable on the size of the project. Key responsibilities will be supervision and carrying out of setting out, line and level and assisting with the take off and requisition materials and plant associated with the project. Supervision of Sub Contractors, quality control and health & safety will also be part of this role.

About the requirements: You will be competent at setting out, have a HND/C qualification or the relevant experience gained working with a Main Contractor on Highways or Roads projects. Candidates should be willing to travel and possible stay over from time to time, however you will be placed on a project as close to home as possible.
