Our internationally recognised client requires System Engineers and Senior System Engineers to relocate to sunny Perth, Western Australia. Reap the rewards of your skills and experience and allow our client to provide you with relocation costs and sponsorship.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a high level of service in relation to the delivery of control, information and communication systems, by performing systems specification, design, implementation, integration, verification and validation, installation and maintenance of these systems in accordance with industry standards.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
• System Requirements
Ensure system requirements are well defined and understood by
Assisting Senior engineer in analyzing the system requirements for completeness and correctness
Ensuring changes to requirements are formally managed in a requirements database
Assisting with safety analysis to ensure all safety requirements are identified and managed
• System Design
Produce a system design to meet system requirements by:
Assisting senior engineer in analysing the requirements specification to produce design alternatives in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
Assisting senior engineer in the selection of the most appropriate design
Producing system design specification in to meet all system and safety requirements
• System Development
Ensure that appropriate hardware and software components are integrated to meet the system design by:
Assisting senior engineer in selection and procurement of appropriate hardware components to meet the system design
Developing software required to integrate hardware and other system components
Assisting in development of any test equipment required to test the system components, and integrated system
• System Verification and Validation
Ensure the system components and integrated system operate correctly and meet the system requirements by
Assisting senior engineer in defining tests for each system component
Assisting senior engineer in defining tests for integrated system
Conducting all defined tests
Producing test reports for all tests conducted
• Occupational Health and Safety
Contribute to a safe work environment including:
Ensuring all activities undertaken comply with applicable OH & S Laws
Ensure all activities comply with company OH & S policies and procedures
Ensuring all safety incidents are reported and followed up by using OH & S procedures
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Tertiary qualification in electrical, communications or computer engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years in related systems and practices
Experience in real-time system engineering (desirable)
Experience in safety critical techniques (desirable)
