About the company: Our client has been established in Australia for over half a century and now have an annual turnover in excess of $500 million. Over the years they have managed to push themselves to the forefront of the civil engineering sector and now have the capability to deliver projects that vary in size and complexity from £1 million to $100 million. The main part of the projects that they are involved in consist of roadworks, earthworks, bridgeworks and waste water treatment works.
About the Role: Our client is seeking strong Project Surveyors to work on heavy civils projects all over Australia. Current projects involve mining, major earthworks, roadworks, drainage, trunk sewer reticulation, pumping stations and reservoirs and marine works. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be involved in setting out on site using the latest engineering equipment. Dependant on the size and nature of individual projects, you may also have direct supervision for a Surveying Assistant.
About the Requirements: Our client is seeking individuals with a tertiary qualification in surveying. A background of working on similar heavy civils projects is essential as is the ability to use engineering equipment such as GPS and Total Station. You must also be computer literate and be able to keep accurate site records.
