Our Client is looking to appoint a Track Maintenance Manager to be responsible for the safe successful completion of the maintenance activities and contract with Metro S.A. (Santiago de Chile).
This role includes producing or managing the following:
* Recruitment and Management of 100 people
* Meeting contract budget
* Dealing directly with the Client
* Programming
* Client payment application
* Monthly progress report
* Monthly site access report
* Corrective Defects Reports
* Plant, tools machinery & vehicles
* Materials Purchases
* Cost to complete
* Pricing small works
* Staff terms and conditions
* Safety & Welfare
* Quality
The successful candidate will have Rail experience and an understanding of railway (track) engineering from P-Way design through to construction.
You will also have good commercial awareness, previous experience in managing and leading a team of people and the ability to communicate at all levels.
desirable skills Ideally, you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) within Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
The ability to speak Spanish would also be advantageous or a keen willingness to learn.
