We urgently seek high calibre Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers to join our client’s team of experienced professionals on a permanent basis. We have roles nationwide, particularly in London, Reading, Midlands and York. You will be working for a leading rail company on Britain’s rail and London Underground projects on a competitive salary of £35-60K, dependent on experience.
The role will involve providing post-contract commercial management of medium value/medium risk activity and support pre-contract activity within the Project delivery team’s scope of work and providing specialist commercial advice.
As a an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Managers you wil be able to carry out:
· Commercial negotiations and contract administration
· Drafting of contracts
· Certification of works
· Valuation and agreement of any variations to contract
· Project cost forecasting
· Preparation and agreement of final accounts
You will have extensive experience in commercially supporting investment projects in the rail, construction or civils industry. You will have good negotiation skills
