We URGENTLY seek Commercial Assistants/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team of experienced professionals on a permanent basis. Based in York, you will be working for a leading rail company on the biggest projects in the UK today In return you can expect a competitive salary of £25-35,000, dependent on experience + the opportunity for excellent career growth.
You will have knowledge of the following:
•Commercial Planning and dealing with contractual issues
•The preparation and upkeep of Commercial plans
•Invoicing and payment
•Earned Value analysis
•Providing support to tenders and bids
•Contract Administration
Ideally, you will have a degree or be qualified to HND status and a background in engineering, construction or civils projects
The successful candidate will have experience working on projects within the railway or other major capital infrastructure.
More important than experience is attitude. We seek candidates with commercial mindset and good accumen skills.
