Senior Estimator - Rail
We currently seek a high caliber Senior Estimator - Rail to join our client’s team of experienced professionals on a contract basis. Based in Dublin, you will be working for one of the largest providers of engineering procurement, construction and project management to the global infrastructural and transport industries.
You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:
• Proven experience working on Underground and Light Rail projects
• Knowledge of related railway infrastructure; Bridges, crossings, separations, tunneling and stations
• Familiarity with the components of the track structure and their function
• A strong commercial background coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills
You must have experience of:
• Seven years + experience in estimating in the civil/rail contracting industries with a major emphasis on rail construction projects
• Pricing and associated per tender activities
• Gathering and sourcing pre-project information
• Liaising with clients and sub-contractors
• Dealing with financial contracts and variations
• Preparation of tender reports
• Post tender negotiations
Qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
