Development Engineer / Senior Development Engineer
This role will be working in the advanced Technologies team who are currently working on the Kinetic Energy recovery System (KERS) project.
Applicants for this role should be suitably qualifies with a degree in Mechanical Engineering 9or similar) with a minimum of 2:1 honours (preferably Msc or PHD)
Applicants for this role should have extensive experience in the design of lightweight components, which have to operate under extreme conditions like engines, transmissions, electric motors in areas such as Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace or Similar. Applicants should have a good understanding of the fields of mechanical, thermodynamics, fluid dynamic and basic electrical engineering in the Data Analysis and control systems.
Experience in the use of CAD packages such as NX Unigraphics would be beneficial along with experience in the design and development of automotive hybrid drive systems.
Innovation, pragmatism, motivation and ambition are all qualities demanded by this position. Good communication skills are important, as the ability to meet deadlines. The individual should have the commitment to work extended hours to meet targets when necessary. Applicants will be self starting team players who can demonstrate a track record of high achievement in their career to date.
Salary range for this role £40K to £80K depending on qualifications and experience.
