Our clients, are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit a Systems Requirements Engineer at their offices in Central London. The work will will involve working on a large rail project requiring extensive alterations to Company infrastructure through some of the most congested and complex parts of the mainline network. These alterations are complex engineering projects in their own right. There are multiple interfaces across all disciplines and with the core section under London. It is vital that the network remains operational during construction. A project engineering team has been formed to develop and drive forward the engineering of the Company projects across the overall Programme.
Skills
Essential
·Substantial relevant experience
·An engineering degree or equivalent industry-recognised qualification
·A sound knowledge of track alignment design and gauging principles and the constraints on good design
·A good understanding of electronic design techniques
·A thorough understanding of MS Excel and building engineering models
·An ability to work and communicate effectively in a team context and with external partners
Desirable
·Knowledge of Bentley Microstation and InRail or MXRail
·Membership of a relevant engineering professional institution
