This top 5 UK based international quantity surveying and project Management organisation based in Central London. They are seeking to appoint a senior Consultant for their claims and dispute resolution division. You will be based in there London office to grow and develop their existing capability in dispute resolution.
The individual they are seeking will probably be RICS qualified with a secondary/higher qualification in construction law being an advantage.
A comprehensive knowledge of legal principles pertaining to construction law and recent statute, especially the HGCR Act 1996, will be considered an essential attribute of the successful individual. In addition, experience in some of the following areas will be an advantage:
·Claims preparation and defence;
·Expert witness;
·Arbitration support;
·Expert Witness;
·Mediation.
The successful applicant will be expected to work under there own authority and initiative to develop new client relationships as part of the growth of the team. Acting on behalf of the company directly with clients and potential clients, competent communication and interpersonal skills are considered essential.
