Our client is an incumbent maintenance, upgrade and enabling contractor within the Underground and over-ground networks. Services include fire detection and suppression system maintenance, installation, enabling or upgrade; facilities management; mechanical; electrical and lighting contracts. They are currently looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role to start immediately.
The successful candidate will be working on a variety of contracts valued £1,000 to £18m based on NEC Option A Priced Contract with Activity Schedule, Option C Target Cost Contract with Activity Schedule and various underlying sub-contracts
To be successful in the role you will have experience in tender preparation and negotiation, cost management, valuation, contractual negotiation, variations, final accounts, monthly contract reviews, preparation and submission of financial reporting and client liaison primarily focused within the delivery of fire upgrades. NEC contract experience essential and rail experience preferred.
