About the Client: The client we represent has been established for over two years in the UK and are based from brand new offices in West London. They have a strong backing from one of the most recognized and respected companies in Ireland. The London branch are headed up by an extremely experienced individual, who comes from a Surveying background within Rail, and is one of the most driven and determined individuals you are likely to meet, he previously helped take a specialist rail sub contractor from £5m to £100m in 10years before being head hunted for this new project. They already have a turnover in excess of £20m with and have several major contracts secured, with more coming thick and fast.
About the Role: This is one of the most interesting roles you are likely to find, with a great opportunity to progress your career no end. At present, you will be required to find new contracts and manage them from initial tendering through to end, but with success you will be required to bring in your own team around you, enhancing your role rapidly. To begin with, you will be required to concentrate mainly on Rail, Civils and building contracts, but there is no end to what you can go after and achieve with this company.
About the Requirements: Our client is looking for a very capable Group Commercial Manager who has the drive and determination to not only enhance the already growing reputation of this company but also has the desire to rapidly enhance their own career with this company. This role will entail overseeing all of the Groups UK commercial activities whilst working very closely with the managing Director. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must as is the ability to forge new client relationships as well as build on existing ones. Your role will include liaising with the client on contractual issues, preparing and monitoring budgets, tender preparation, monthly cost value reviews, sub contractor procurement, preparing claims and valuations and final accounts.
