DLR Engineering is a small, effective team with big responsibilities. We’re handling a programme of improvements to the existing fleet and also introducing new vehicles to meet the growing demand for our service and challenges like the 2012 Olympics.
You’ll provide rolling stock engineering input on our vehicles and take responsibility for the asset management of the fleet. Working closely with key contractors to advise on performance, cost effectiveness and reliability is a big part of this role, so you’ll need experience of working on important contracts with multiple companies from the shop floor to the boardroom. You’ll need a relevant degree with experience of asset management, and the skills to handle electrical and mechanical systems across the fleet. |
