Being a world leader in the Project Management, Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of complex railway infrastructure solutions around the UK and overseas.

The Role:
As the Project Planner you will be working alongside the project team to develop detailed project plans through the life cycle of each project using P3e / Microsoft Project. You will maintain a portfolio of projects and establish reporting to meet with the needs of the Project Manager and client.

The Project Planner is responsible for:
Prepare a project work breakdown structure and plan in accordance with the client and company procedures.

Manage to ensure the project the well resourced and all costs are loaded and monitored against the plan and make necessary changes as required.

Input the planning issues into the project`s critical issues risk log / register and review planning risks and monitor whether the risk register is updated accordingly.

Report on actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes.

Monitoring and auditing sub-contractor plans to ensure they comply
with client and company procedures.

Skills:
* Experience within the Industry
* Have a sound understanding of project planning and be fully fluent in using P3e
* Working knowledge of multi-disciplinary railway engineering projects
* Sound knowledge of project controls, processes and systems
