Our client, a major rail organisation, is looking to recruit a Highways Interface Manager to their Central London offices. You shall be responsible for coordinating the overall interface between a multi-billion pound project and the range of highway authorities.
You will ensure that the provisions of the TWA Order in respect of stopping up streets, and as appropriate the provisions of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) are implemented correctly and in a timely manner. You'll be responsible for maintaining interfaces and inputting as appropriate TLP street stopping and works into company wide co-ordination schedule. You shall provide professional advice on highways information components in the TLP Graphic and Text Entry System (GATES)
Experience:
Experience in major engineering developments, including a substantial working knowledge of highways and specifically the NRSWA 1991.
Knowledge of
· Traffic Management Act 2004
· Temporary Traffic Restrictions Act 1991
· Safety at Street Works & Roadwork Code of Practice
· Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual
· Street Works Qualifications Registration (SQWR2) Supervisor
· Experience of database and document management
· Ability to understand complex traffic management logistics
