The Role:
As a Construction Manager you will be responsiblefor reporting on Construction Management issues directly to the project manager. The construction Manager is accountable and responsible for reviewing and accepting method statements in conjunction with the Engineering manager and the SQE manager. The jobholder will also be accountable for compliance with project procedures and policies. The construction manager will report on progress as well as provide the Assurance manager with site records to assemble technical cases. The Construction Manager acts as a focal point as well as liaises with the contractor to ensure that works are well planned and coordinated with 3rd parties in advance to the commencement date.
As a Construction Manager your skills should include:
·A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
·10 years experience on railway construction, signalling and telecoms
·A minimum of three years experience as a construction manager supervising the work of multidiscipline contractors
·Knowledge of industry standards, processes and project requirements
·Knowledge of Corporate Policies and Procedures
Eligible to obtain LUL Entry permit
