Metronet Rail is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Team within the Civils Delivery Unit who is based at Warren Street, Central London.
The role will involve managing the interface between Drainage, other Metronet Departments, LUL and other Outside Organisations. In addition the Project Manager will be responsible for managing the Drainage Contractor during Possession work and work carried out in Engineering hours.
Typical Responsibilities will be-
• To meet the key mile stones leading to the implementation of a work site in a possession.
• Liaise with track and the BTR programme.
• Liaise with Inspections and Assessments to confirm the category of the existing drainage system.
• Carry out an on site survey.
• Produce a detailed scope of the work to be carried out.
• Liaise with the design engineer on the production of working drawings.
• Issue the scope and drawings to the drainage contractor for pricing.
The successful candidate would need to have or be working towards an Engineering Degree or Diploma qualification.
The following requirements are also essential to succeed in the role-
• Have civil engineering experience
• Basic knowledge of drainage design and / or construction
• Knowledge of LUL infrastructure and procedures
