An opportunity has arisen in the rail engineering team for a project manager to be based in the London office. The rail engineering team carries out design, management and commissions of rail projects in the UK and overseas, working on heavy rail, light rail and metro schemes.
Key Objectives
You will be responsible for the management of the full project cycle and will be reporting to the project director. Internally you will liaise with the design team, technical directors and externally with clients and sub consultants. The principal duties of this position are to lead and manage design commissions and deputise for the commercial manager on larger projects. You would be working in accordance with good practice in managing and delivering of projects, supporting initiatives to disseminate best practice through the rail engineering group.
You will have:
• A degree in Civil Engineering
• MICE – Chartered Engineer
• Experience in establishing project objectives
• Establish project control systems (cost / time / deliverables)
• Experience in project delivery within time and cost
