Construction Supervisor x 2 to £40k London

About the Role: Our client is seeking two Construction Supervisors to work with in their recently secured £200 million project to upgrade the Docklands Light Railway from two to three carriage trains in preparation for the 2012 Olympics. The works will be completed in two stages which include strengthening of viaducts and bridges, extending platforms and improving key junctions. Phase one will allow the DLR to lengthen trains along its busiest route and phase two will allow tree carriage trains to operate across other parts of the network, Both phases are expected to be completed by 2010.
About the requirements: Our client is seeking two Construction Supervisors to work within the existing project team. Ideally you will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or have worked your way to a Supervisory position. You will report to the Project manager and have several direct reports to you, including Site Engineers and subcontractors. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and provide active support to all functions within the project from the design team through to the commercial team.
