About the Role:
You will be part of a major civil engineering project aimed at increasing the capacity on the Docklands Light Railway in time for the 2012 Olympics. This involves the modification and extension of station platforms, strengthening of over 70 bridges and viaducts, the construction of new viaducts and a new station and much more.
You will form part of a large planning team on this significant project, responsible for providing advice on appropriate phasing strategies and construction methods, identification of constraints, risks and other issues in the development and management of the project time model.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and will have a sound knowledge of construction methods & procedures, health & safety, pre-construction issues and industry standards and requirement. Experience in a planning role would be an advantage.
