Our client has been created by formally bringing together the two businesses of ALSTOM UK Transport Information Solutions and Balfour Beatty Rail Signalling, providing a unique opportunity to offer ‘individual' or ‘complete solutions' to any customer requiring design, installation, testing, commissioning and product support for signalling, power and telecommunications
We require a Rail Project Planner to manage the preparation of integrated and co-ordinated project programmes, enabling resource and material requirements to be forward planned to meet project deliverables.
Position Located in Islington.
Responsibilities to Include:
. Accuracy of information and data capture, both current and historical.
. Provision of periodic reporting to Project Services and project management
. Timely Maintenance of the Information
. Customer satisfaction both internally and externally
Desired Knowledge:
. Experience of working in a project planning / scheduling role
. Knowledge of the railway industry and in particular rail signalling projects (advantageous) particularly Network Rail GRIP 3, 4 and 5-8
. Knowledge of contractual requirements would be an advantage
. Knowledge and experience of working in a business processes environment. . Excellent knowledge of Primavera P3e / P3 & a working knowledge of MS project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access packages
