You will be required to assist in the management and processing of minor through to complex planning applications, preparing and presenting committee reports, development proposals including major proposals of strategic importance, preparing reports and making recommendations, assisting in the recruitment and training of staff, allocation of work and providing advice to Senior Officers and members on design, developments and planning briefs in connection with development sites in the borough. Ideal candidates will be educated to degree level in town planning or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years experience gained within Development Control. An excellent understanding of current legislation, current planning and regeneration matters. S106 experience is a distinct advantage. |
