Our Client currently has an urgent requirement for SHEQ Advisors to advise projects in and around London on all SHEQ aspects that affect the contracted works. The successful applicant will be required to travel regularly to various projects within the London area.
Key responsibilities will include:
•Providing SHEQ advice and support to the project/discipline unit teams as necessary.
•Providing effective briefings and training on all aspects of the company’s SHEQ management to the project/discipline unit teams, subcontractors and other parties as necessary.
•Carrying out on site inspections and audits to monitor and review compliance to the project/discipline unit teams.
•Enhancing the SHEQ culture with the project/discipline unit teams.
•Supporting and assisting in ongoing reviews and improvements of site SHEQ systems.
•Working with and assisting other operational departments to ensure SHEQ issues are adequately addressed in a timely manner.
•Compiling as directed, SHEQ tender responses to client ITT requests.
The successful candidate should hold a recognised SHEQ qualification and have experience working within a SHEQ and operational railway environment.
The successful candidate should also have working knowledge and experience of SHEQ legislation and of railway specific legislation.
Ideally, you will also be a qualified auditor.
